International Visit from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB)

A senior delegation from the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), led by Director Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak and Additional Director, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Awal Khan, conducted a strategic visit to the Quality Management and Enhancement Department (QMED) at Universiti Malaya (UM) in late April 2026. This collaborative benchmarking initiative was designed to analyze the operational processes, organizational structures, and cultural enablers that support Universiti Malaya's high-performance quality assurance framework, specifically focusing on the Universiti Malaya Quality Excellence Index (UMQEI) and mutual accreditation processes, thereby establishing a foundation for long-term regional academic advancement and joint quality initiatives.
