UMQEI assessors are responsible for thoroughly reviewing and evaluating the evidence uploaded by the Responsible Centres (RCs) through the UMQEI web application. Assessors ensure that this evidence meets established criteria, deciding whether to accept or reject it based on its relevance and adequacy. When evidence is rejected, assessors provide constructive feedback, guiding the RCs on how to improve and resubmit acceptable evidence. They compile detailed qualitative and quantitative reports that summarize their findings, highlight areas of strength, and identify opportunities for improvement. By helping the RCs understand these assessment results, assessors support the development and implementation of continual improvement plans, thereby ensuring ongoing enhancement and excellence in educational landscape at Universiti Malaya.
